Catalog Review

If you've checked your syllabus and SacCT, you'll see that I've given you a list of catalogs (all in the library) from which you must choose in order to complete the catalog review assignment due on Tuesday at 11am. Once you've checked your catalog out from the library, please leave a note here in the comment section telling the rest of us which one you selected, since I'm not entirely sure how immediately the library system updates availability notices in their system.

  2. My catalogue is Inua: Spirit World of the Eskimo. There were two copies of it, so unless you don't want two people doing the same one, there is still a copy available.

(This assignment doesn't count toward lab hours, does it?)

Maria: the Boyd and Montoya examples are in the class SacCT, under "required readings" on the sidebar.

  3. I only want one review of Inua (and did see that there were two copies, and my very own private THIRD copy), but glad you got it, Seya!

  6. Maria--the Boyd and Montoya articles are listed for this week (due Tuesday) as required reading. Check your syllabus. They are located in the same tab on SacCT as the other required readings.

  7. I checked out Art of Polynesia.
For whoever is researching the clubs, you might want to look at this. Especially the Throwing Clubs. The ones here are polished and carved, but that might just be because they are the ones featured in the collection, or because these ones were for ceremonial purposes.
